HSK 2Adverbs

A Little (Negative)

Using 有点 before adjectives to express a slight degree, often with negative connotation.

Pattern

Subject + 有(一)点(儿) + Adjective

Explanation

有点 before an adjective means 'a little' and usually carries a negative or undesirable connotation.

Compare with 一点: 有点 goes BEFORE the adjective (有点贵), while 一点 goes AFTER (便宜一点). They are not interchangeable.
