以便、以免、以致是表示目的、避免和意外结果的书面连接词。

句型结构

Clause A + 以便/以免/以致 + Clause B

这三个连接词共用书面语素以，但功能各异。以便表示为了达到某目的（积极目的），以免表示为了避免某事发生（消极目的），以致表示导致了某种意外结果（通常是不好的结果）。

三者均属正式书面语体，常见于公文、学术写作和新闻报道中。口语中通常用好让、免得、结果等替代。注意以致几乎总是引出不良后果。
