HSK 2Complements
Result Complements
A result complement after a verb indicates the outcome of the action.
Pattern
Verb + Result Complement (完/好/到/见/懂/错)
Explanation
A result complement is attached directly after a verb to show the result or outcome. Common ones: 完 (finished), 好 (done well), 到 (reached), 见 (perceived), 懂 (understood).
The verb and complement form a tight unit. Negate with 没: "我没看见" (I didn't see it).
